Stop Running From the Process

What’s good, fam? Let’s have some real talk today. Too many of us are out here asking Yah to bless us, asking Him to open doors, asking Him to make a way, but at the same time, we’re running from the very process He’s trying to take us through.

And here’s the truth: you can’t pray for the promise while avoiding and running from the process.

The Process Isn’t Pretty

Listen, fam. The process is never going to look like the promise. You praying for abundance? The process might start with lack. You praying for strength? The process might start with weakness. You praying for patience? The process might come with waiting.

See, we want the mountaintop experience, but we don’t want to climb. We want the crown but don’t want to carry the cross. But Yah ain’t skipping steps. If you want what He has for you, you gotta walk through it.

Why We Keep Running

Let me break it down. Most of the time, we run from the process because it hurts. It’s uncomfortable. It feels unfair.

But growth always costs something. The question is: are you willing to pay the price?

  • You want discipline? You’re gonna pay in consistency.

  • You want freedom? You’re gonna pay in sacrifice.

  • You want peace? You’re gonna pay by letting go of things (and people) that disturb it.

Running only delays what God is trying to give you.

The Wilderness Season

Fam, don’t forget, even Yahshua had to go through the wilderness before He stepped into ministry. The wilderness is where you get tested. It’s where your character gets refined.

That’s why some of us keep going in circles, because instead of learning the lesson, we keep running. And Yah loves us too much to let us skip the test.

So if you’re in the wilderness right now, stop asking, “How do I get out?” and start asking, “What am I supposed to learn here?”

Process Builds Muscle

Fam, let me put it this way: process builds muscle. And I’m not just talking about physical muscle.I’m talking spiritual, emotional, and mental muscle.

Think about lifting weights. You don’t get stronger by staring at the dumbbells. You get stronger by pushing through resistance.

It’s the same with life. Resistance is where strength is born.

Trusting Yah in the Middle

The hardest part is trusting God in the middle. Not at the start when it’s exciting. Not at the end when the blessing is clear. But in the messy middle, when you can’t see how it’s gonna work out.

That’s where faith kicks in. Faith is not about seeing the whole staircase  it’s about taking the first step when all you see is fog.

Fam, don’t let the fog fool you. Yah already has the blueprint. Your job is just to keep walking.

Stop Comparing Journeys

Another thing , stop looking left and right at what other people are doing. Their process ain’t your process.

You might see someone on their mountaintop, but you don’t know the valleys they had to crawl through. You don’t know the nights they cried. You don’t know the sacrifices they made.

Comparison is a thief. It’ll rob you of joy, patience, and focus. Stay in your lane. Trust your process.

The Role of Community

Now don’t get it twisted , process doesn’t mean isolation. Even though you gotta walk through it, you don’t always have to walk alone.

That’s why we talk so much about family, community, accountability. Sometimes the only thing keeping you from quitting is someone reminding you, “Fam, don’t give up. You’re closer than you think.”

But hear me: don’t expect people to carry what Yah told you to carry. They can encourage you, but they can’t do the obedience part for you. That’s on you.

What Happens When You Stop Running

Fam, here’s the beauty: when you stop running and start embracing the process, you start seeing progress.

You realize:

  • The pain had a purpose.

  • The waiting wasn’t wasted.

  • The storm was making you stronger.

And that’s when you start walking in peace. Not because everything around you is calm, but because you trust the One guiding you through the storm.

Our Personal Story

Let me be real with y’all. We’ve had plenty of seasons where the process did not look like the promise.

Times when money was tight. Times when plans fell through. Times when it looked like we were going backward instead of forward.

But every single time, on the other side of the process, we saw why it had to happen that way.

It built discipline. It humbled us. It taught us to depend on Yah and not ourselves.

If we had skipped the process, we wouldn’t have had the capacity to hold the blessing.

The Refining Fire

Fam, you know how gold gets purified? Fire. The heat burns off everything that doesn’t belong. Same with us.

The fire isn’t there to destroy you . It's there to refine you. To burn off the fear, the doubt, the pride, the laziness.

When you come out, you’re not just shiny. You’re solid.

Final Word: Embrace It

So here’s my word to you, fam: stop running. Stop fighting the process. Stop asking Yah to remove what He’s using to refine you.

Embrace it. Learn from it. Grow through it.

Because the very process you’re avoiding is the same one that’s preparing you for the promise you prayed for.

Fam, don’t quit now. You’re closer than you think.
